WHO WE ARE
On June 18th, 2025, the espnW Summit Canada presented by Canadian Tire returned to Toronto for its third year, and once again, it did not disappoint. Visionaries, changemakers, and leaders came together to challenge the status quo, inspire action, and spark meaningful change.
The Summit took place at a landmark moment for women's sports in Canada. The Northern Super League had just kicked off its inaugural season, the PWHL continued to shatter expectations, and excitement around the Toronto Tempo was growing as the franchise's front office was beginning to take shape. The conversations and energy in the room reflected what so many already know to be true: investing in women's sports isn't just the right thing to do — it's smart business.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for another sold out event. Thank you for making this community what it is.
Stay tuned for what's next in 2026.

Just Announced!
We are so excited to have Fielding Jamieson join our Beyond the Buzz panel, diving into all things investing in women’s sport.
When it comes to investing, Fielding is no stranger to women’s sports. Fielding is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tipt Ventures, an early-stage investment platform reshaping the sports economy by investing in business driving the next wave of sports growth: women.
Previously, she spearheaded innovation initiatives at NBCUniversal, Comcast, and R/GA Ventures. Notably, she served as Managing Director of the Trailblazer Venture Studio, the first venture studio dedicated to investing at the intersection of women and sports. The success of those investments underscored her belief that women can indeed drive the sports economy.
We can’t wait to have her expertise and passion at the espnW Summit Canada presented by Canadian Tire.
“Incredible event with INCREDIBLE assembly of people in the room. A truly empowering, and energizing day!”
“This is a tremendously valuable event, full of rich content, strong women, engaging moderators and speakers and literally the who's who of women in sports in the Canadian Sport space.”
“One of the most inspiring days of my career! Everything was great - speakers, interaction, networking, venue, food, etc. I'd highly recommend and will attend again!”

This event is powered by TTG Canada and TORQUE Strategies, curating the unique experience our attendees enjoy from tip to tail. These two sister agencies offer brand marketing and partnerships services focused on elevating the potential of sport, culture and community. When TTG founder Andrea Shaw attended the espnW Summit in 2016, she left feeling inspired to work with espnW to bring the Summit to Canada. Her vision was to gather professionals north of the border, and advance women's sport in this market.

You have two options for airports, you can fly into Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) which is just outside Toronto’s downtown core, in Mississauga, or you can fly into Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport that is in the heart of downtown. The commute is shorter from Billy Bishop, but the airline and flight options are more limited.
